Cerebral Synergy - BIMP (Batch Image Processor) Professional
BIMP Professional is like Freeware BIMP on steroids.
Currently at around 60% production, I hope to have it finished in a couple of
months. BIMP is designed to give maximum flexibility with minimum effort and
learn time. As a person who gets overwhelmed with applications such Adobe
Photoshop, I wanted to make a program to batch process images that could be used
by us non-graphic design types. Furthermore, I wanted to have much greater
functionality and flexibility than BIMP 'Lite' with features such as
watermarking, cropping, selection by coordinates and a multitude of effects. All
of these operations can be preformed in a specified order (e.g. overlay image,
solarize then add border). BIMP Pro will have support forums, a comprehensive
help file and email support. The price will be around $20 USD. Please note that
the following features are indicative only, as the product is still in
development.
BIMP Pro is aimed at digital camera owners, web masters, graphic designers,
and general image enthusiasts. Please see the last section for more details.
Operations can be preformed on the whole image, a selected section of the
image, a cropped out area of the image or on an inverse selection of image.
Multiple selections can be made for each image in the batch job, adding to the
flexibility.
Text can be overlayed on the images with the following options:
Text font, size, and colour selection
Background colour or transparent background
Orientation - Free Rotation (0 - 360º) and mirror effects
Positioning text in the image's corners, centred on the edges or in the
middle of the image. X/Y Offsets can be used to position text exactly where
the user desires.

BIMP will come with an optional, customisable explorer menu, so many common operations
can be done just by right-clicking on an image or image directory in windows!
Some features available in the menu include:
Settings will be able to be saved to separate files, allowing you to have
configurations for different tasks. Files will be able to be uploaded in a
central repository on the internet, so other people can use pre-made effects!:
